What Commute does
Commute shows your train or Metro's next departures, live from each agency's own real-time feed, right on this page. Add an optional live drive-time comparison if you're deciding train vs. car for a route — that's the only part that ever costs anything.
Just want to see live trains with no account at all? The smw.org homepage shows the public route, free, no sign-in needed.
Get your own route
Rail-only Commute is free — enter your email and we'll set up an account. No password to invent; a temporary one arrives by email and you pick a real one on first sign-in.
